God Knows When

I found this phrase “God When” on the internet sometimes ago and I decided to follow up the trend. I realized a lot of people use this phrase as comment under trends such as relationship, vacation, finance, property, employment, scholarship, immigration etc.

I dug further and I found an interesting story. A young lady posted her love relationship video of how she met her fiancé and how they are so loved up, committed to making it work, how they had vacations in beautiful countries, showcasing her wedding pictures and celebrating 5 years anniversary with two beautiful children. I loved the story; it was a beautiful watch. I then proceeded to the comment section and most of the comments had the phrase God When.

God puts promises in our hearts, but He doesn't tell us how or when it's going to happen. Many at times, if it's not happening the way we thought or on our schedule, we get exasperated. We keep asking "God, when is this situation going to turn around? When am I getting married? when am I getting pregnant? when am I getting my dream job?

We put God in a box and dictate to him how to do it or when it should happen. When we submit to God; allowing him to be God and allowing him to be in control of our lives, then he will lead us down the clear path. We need to let go of self-control and start resting in God’s faith.

Proverbs 3:5-6: Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths.
